CEA has recently appraised the machinery & equipment of a sawmill. The subject sawmill machinery and equipment appraised included band and circular saws, resaws and cant sizers, gang saws, rip saws, debarkers, edgers, planers, chippers, hogs, mulch processing equipment, firewood processing equipment, and other associated items.

Appraisal Observations: The domestic sawmill and wood production industry has faced challenging conditions, but improvements are anticipated. A recovery in housing starts and remodeling activity will support demand for wood products. Correspondingly, demand for good quality sawmills and related machinery and equipment is also improving.
