CEA provides inventory valuations primarily for use by lenders or business owners as related to a loan transaction. All of CEA’s inventory valuations include narrative specific to the subject inventory and address the value characteristics, current market conditions, distribution channels, potential exit strategy, and other factors that are pertinent to the valuation process.

Valuations that are performed for secured lenders or are related to a loan transaction are typically done on the basis of Forced Liquidation Value or Orderly Liquidation Value.

Fair Market Value valuations are used for purchase price allocation, ad valorem tax, and FASB (Financial Accounting Standards Board) requirements. For a complete list of value definitions click here.
